hi ,

suppose I have buttons add ,modify,delete ,view etc.

and 2 field area_code,area_desc.now what i want to do is when the form is run ,the cursor should not go directly into the fields(area_code,area_desc)instead an alert should be displayed and after the user selects any option that is add,modify or delete etc. then only the cursor should move to the fields.

please explain in detailll with an example.
