organization id is negative [message #181225]

Hi,

I have encountered a negative value when I am querying.

say organization id as -124 (organization id value).
Is it due to System down or any other?

hi,
Usually oraganizations id will not be a negative value and the only negative value is -99 that apps uses in userenv function to hide datas in views and hence we set organization id,i.e fnd_client_info to see datas.But the table hr_all_organization_units accepts negative value and it might be a test data as you have just seen one negative id.
I hope you get it clear.

Hi,

When I queried I did found many negative values other than -99.
It was not in test data. Could any one plz clarify?

Hi,

This could happen if the "Replicate Seed data" was not run properly or was not run for all new organization

From the System Administrator responsibility run the Replicate Seed Data
report for the organization ID.

Please verify
